I uploaded my video, now what?
Once you have added a listing it will immediately be available on our website but your video will need some time to encode.
How long will it take to encode my video?
That depends on the size and bandwidth (traffic) but more often than not your video will be available within an hour or two.
Why does it take so long compared with other websites?
Other websites such as YouTube only allow certain amount of storage for their videos (typically 100 megabytes in size) but we have no storage limit and offer a higher quality encoding process for your videos.
What type of video files do you accept?
We accept the following files: .3GP, .AVI. .DV, h.264, MPEG2, MPEG4, QuickTime, and .WMV
Can I add a YouTube Video?
Yes! You can add any video you already have with another website, just place the embed code of that video in the "Link to video" box when you add a listing.
How long will it take to for my YouTube video upload?
It should only take a few minutes for you videos to show up on our site when you embed videos from other websites.
How long should my video be?
Ideally your video should be between 2 to 6 minutes long.
Why can't I see my video listing?
When you upload a video it must be processed and encoded. This may take some time due to bandwidth and the approval process.
Can I mail you my video?
If you don't have an internet connection or simply prefer to send us a hard copy of your video, please send us an email and we will give you detailed instructions for shipping your video to us.
Will you edit my video?
No. When you submit a video to us, it will go through a review process. Once your video has been approved, it will then be encoded and will be accessible on the site. If you want editing for your video listing, please take a look at our adding services section for more information.
Can I put my video on my website?
Yes! You can copy and paste the embed link and place that code in your website where you want that video to appear.
Can you recommend any software to use to edit my video?
There are many video software titles available, but imovie, final cut pro, and windows movie maker are all good.
Will my video be in search engines such as Google and Yahoo?
Yes, our site is optimized for search engines so your video listings will be available to be indexed. (Note: we have no control over how Google, Yahoo, and other search engines index websites.)
